To keep pace with rapid customer growth, Vyve Broadband needed to modernize its core network while maintaining seamless operation with existing equipment. Working with IP Infusion and RocNet, Vyve deployed OcNOS on Edgecore white-box hardware.
RocNet designed and tested the solution in a deployment lab, enabling rollout to begin within three months—about half the typical time to revenue—while improving network stability, standardizing operations and lowering operating costs.
Facing rising bandwidth demands and increasing competition, a regional broadband provider needed to dramatically expand capacity without disrupting existing service. RocNet integrated Vecima, IP Infusion and Technetix technologies to transform its legacy 10G backbone into a scalable architecture with a path to 400G, supported by 400G-capable ports on the IP Infusion equipment.
The result: multi-gig readiness, significantly greater capacity and a streamlined footprint that consolidated multiple racks of legacy equipment into approximately half a rack.
During the supply-chain crisis, a Tier 1 service provider faced OEM lead times of more than a year—putting customer commitments and new network builds at risk. RocNet developed a customized stocking and inventory program using its Green Market inventory.
The program reportedly reduced the provider’s average lead time from more than one year to fewer than 10 days, lowered costs compared with OEM pricing and kept critical network deployments moving.
